我们聚会是为什么？乃是为着来吃主、喝主、享受主，并且彼此供应，以致活水涌流。诗歌三百八十二首第四节说，‘接受这话，接触这灵，你就作了我的供应。’我们接受这话，就接触话中的灵，我们里面就得了供应。不只聚会，我们每天的生活也该这样吃主、喝主、享受主，使祂成为我们的供应。这就是实际的经历三一神作生命。
我们的主是可吃的，也是可喝的。我们是藉着主的话吃主，并且藉着呼求主名来喝主。以赛亚十二章三至四节说，‘所以你们必从救恩的泉源欢然取水。……当称谢耶和华，求告祂的名。’这里求告主名是联于喝救恩的泉源。从救恩的泉源取水就是喝，喝的路就是呼求主名。这给我们看见，我们一求告主名，就喝了主。
这样的喝也包括了吃。比方小孩子喝奶就是吃；奶不只是饮料，也是食物。我们都有同样的经历，单单呼求主名不够，非得配上主的话不可。有时我们呼求：‘哦，主耶稣！哦，主耶稣！’就会喜乐得用主的话或者赞美，或者敬拜，或者感谢，如‘你是生命的粮，吃你的人必要因你活着！’这样又是呼求主名，又是享受主的话。呼求就是喝，享受话就是吃。因此，这样呼求、祷读，就是又吃又喝，吃、喝都有了。
感谢主，祂是灵，祂这灵又化成话，祂也将祂的名赐给我们。现在我们有圣经，也有圣灵，还有祂的名，所需要的不过就是花一点工夫实际的去操练、享受。不必太多时间，每早晨只要利用十分钟和主有接触，享受祂。

Enjoying God is the Proper Way for Believers to Meet and Serve – 1 Pet. 2:2-3
Why do we gather together? It is to eat the Lord, drink the Lord, enjoy the Lord, and supply one another so that living water may flow. Hymn 382, stanza 4 says, “Receive the word, touch the Spirit — then you become my supply.” When we receive the Word, we touch the Spirit in the Word, and within us we receive supply. Not only in meetings, but also in our daily life, we should eat the Lord, drink the Lord, and enjoy the Lord so that He may become our supply. This is the real experience of the Triune God as life.
Our Lord is both eatable and drinkable. We eat the Lord through His Word, and we drink the Lord by calling on His name. Isaiah 12:3-4 says, “Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. … Give thanks to Jehovah; call upon His name.” Here, calling on the Lord’s name is linked with drinking from the springs of salvation. To draw water from the springs of salvation is to drink, and the way to drink is to call on the Lord’s name. This shows us that whenever we call on His name, we drink of the Lord.
This drinking also includes eating. For example, when little children drink milk, they are also eating. Milk is not only a drink but also food. We all have the same experience: calling on the Lord’s name alone is not enough — it must be accompanied with the Word of the Lord. Sometimes when we call, “O Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus!” we are so joyful that we spontaneously speak His Word, or praise, or worship or give thanks, such as, “You are the bread of life; he who eats You shall live because of You!” In this way, we both call on His name and enjoy His Word. Calling is drinking, enjoying the Word is eating. Thus, calling and pray-reading together are both eating and drinking.
Thank the Lord that He is Spirit, that this Spirit has also become the Word, and that He has given us His name. Now we have the Bible, the Holy Spirit and His name. What is needed is simply that we spend a little time to practically exercise and enjoy Him. It doesn’t require much time — just ten minutes every morning to contact the Lord and enjoy Him.
