神建造的原则，是神自己与我们调和成为一个建造
神建造的原则，乃是神把祂自己建造到我们里面，又把我们建造到祂里面；也就是神自己与我们调和成为一个建造（约十四20，十五4，约壹四15，弗三17上，启二一3，22）。这就是神中心的工作。
这是我们中心的工作么？什么是我们中心的工作？在实际和实行上，我们必须作许多种工作。我们若没有带人得救进入三一神，圣徒若没有得成全、被牧养，若没有合式的地方聚会，教会若没有正确的行政，怎么能够有建造？但神有一个中心的工作。我们需要领悟，神所要作主要的事，就是祂在我们里面，同着我们，向着我们所作主要的工作，乃是将祂自己建造到我们里面。
神的建造，乃是三一神团体的彰显
神的居所乃是神团体的彰显（提前三15～16，约十七22，弗三19下，21）。神住在自己团体的彰显里，这就是祂的荣耀。当帐幕立起来时，神的荣耀就临到帐幕（出四十34～35）。当殿建造起来，神的荣耀就充满了殿（王上八11）。那些都是预表。
神居住在一班得荣耀、团体作祂彰显的人里面。我们需要教会立场、地方立场、基督身体一的立场，需要在主名里聚集（申十二5，徒八1，十四23，多一5，太十六18），这是必须的开始。但神在我们所在地的教会，若还没有得着祂的建造，祂就还没有家。以弗所二章二十二节说，“你们也在祂里面同被建造。”当我们建造在一起，在内在一面成为团体的，每个人都否认己，都有一个最高的职业，就是被神圣的元素注入，并凭神圣的荣耀发光，作神的彰显，这就是神的家。当神得着这个，祂就得着居所。

God’s Building Is the Corporate Expression of the Triune God – John 14:20, 15:4
The principle of God’s building is that God builds Himself into us and builds us into Him; that is, God Himself is mingled with us to become one building (John 14:20, 15:4, 1 John 4:15, Eph. 3:17a, Rev. 21:3, 22). This is the central work of God.
Is this our central work and what is our central work? In reality and practice, we must do many kinds of work. If we do not bring people to be saved into the Triune God, if the saints are not perfected and shepherded, if there is no proper place to gather, and if the church does not have correct administration, how can the church be built up? But God has a central work. We need to realize that the main thing God wants to do is to build Himself into us.
God’s dwelling place is the corporate expression of God (1 Tim. 3:15-16; John 17:22; Eph. 3:19b, 21). God dwells in His corporate expression, and this is His glory. When the tabernacle was set up, the glory of God came upon the tabernacle (Exo. 40:34-35). When the temple was built, the glory of God filled the temple (1 Kings 8:11). All of these are types.
God dwells in a group of glorified people who are His corporate expression. We need the church ground, the local ground and the ground of the oneness of Body of Christ, and we need to gather in the name of the Lord (Deut. 12:5, Acts 8:1, 14:23, Titus 1:5, Matt. 16:18). This is a necessary beginning. But if God’s church in our locality has not been built up by Him, He does not yet have a home. Ephesians 2:22 says, “In Him you are also being built together.” When we are built together and become a corporate body inwardly, each one denies self and has the highest occupation, which is to be infused by the divine element and shine with divine glory as the expression of God. This is the house of God. When God gains this, He gains a dwelling place.
