font-size: 20px;\">Rebekah &#8212; Pure, Kind and Diligent\n\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Genesis 24:16 tells us that Rebekah \u201cwas very beautiful, a virgin.\u201d Rebekah was pure and simple, and also kind and diligent (Gen. 24:18-20). When Abraham\u2019s servant asked for a drink, she immediately gave him a drink. She also drew water for his camels. To draw water from a well and pour it into the trough for ten camels to drink was hard work for a young female, yet she did it. If young sisters are to be under God\u2019s sovereignty, especially in the matter of marriage, they need to be kind and diligent. A young female who is unkind and lazy should remain single. If a person asks you to do one thing, you must do two things for them, and the second thing should far exceed the first. You should not only give a man a drink. You should also draw water for his ten camels. If you do this, you are qualified to obtain your husband, your Isaac. This is a word of advice to all young single sisters.\n\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Rebekah &#8212; Absolute\n\n\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Rebekah was absolute (Gen. 24:57-58, 61). Although she had never met Isaac, she was willing to go to him without hesitation. She did not say to her mother, \u201cMother, I have never met Isaac. Perhaps I should correspond with him first, and then ask him to visit us before I can decide whether or not to marry him.\u201d Rebekah did not speak this way. Although her brother and mother hesitated, wanting her to stay at least ten more days, she said, \u201cI will go\u201d. She was absolute.\n\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">I have seen some young sisters who considered the matter of marriage too much, and the result turned into a mental problem. Some spent many days, many weeks, many months and even many years considering whether a brother was the one prepared by God for them. When she saw Isaac and realized who he was, she \u201ctook a veil, and covered herself.\u201d Sisters, do not put a piece of cloth on your head for decoration. This must be a sign of your submission. Once you are married, you are no longer your own head. Your husband is your head, and your own head must be covered.
