font-size: 20px; font-family: 'times new roman', times;\">For example, there is a prayer meeting tonight, but when we get up early in the morning, we don\u2019t first enjoy God; instead, we begin to busily wash our face, brush our teeth, eat breakfast and drive to work. After being busy for eight hours, we haven\u2019t enjoyed the Lord at all. By the time we get off work and return home, we&#8217;re already quite exhausted; as a result, after eating dinner, nine times out of ten we won\u2019t go to the meeting. Perhaps your wife loves the Lord very much and urges you to go to the meeting. Although you attend the meeting, not only do you have no strength, but you also have no spirit, no word, nothing at all &#8212; only drowsiness. Even if you don\u2019t doze off and want to pray, your spirit is deflated, like a tire that has lost air; you can\u2019t lift it up no matter what, and can only pray a few sentences reluctantly, saying, \u201cLord, thank You for gathering us together; what a great grace this is.\u201d Regarding such a prayer meeting, some people say having it is better than not having it, but in my view, not having it is better than having it. How can a meeting without any real prayer be considered a prayer meeting? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 20px; font-family: 'times new roman', times;\">An important point of the reformation is that in meetings, it should not be one person speaking and the crowd listening; rather, everyone should function. When one person speaks, that person becomes the pastor, and when the crowd listens, everyone stops being priests &#8212; all functions are killed. But if you want to be able to function in the meetings, you must enjoy the Lord in your daily life. If you don\u2019t enjoy the Lord, what function can you exercise?
