font-size: 20px; font-family: 'times new roman', times;\">In Matthew 11:28, the Lord Jesus says, \u201cCome to Me, all who weary and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.\u201d The Lord calls those who labor and are burdened to come and receive rest. This is to create a sense of need within people. Some people are quite satisfied with life and feel no need for salvation; but we must help create a sense of need in them \u2013 make them feel dissatisfied, make them realize their need to be saved. \u000b<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 20px; font-family: 'times new roman', times;\">Luke 4:18\u201319 says: \u201cThe Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.\u201d These were the words the Lord Jesus declared when He first began His ministry. Here, the Lord says that the objects of His gospel fall into two categories: those who are needy, and those who are sinful. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 20px; font-family: 'times new roman', times;\">In Romans 1:29\u201331, Paul lists twenty-one kinds of sins in mankind. On the one hand, men have needs; on the other hand, men are sinful. But concerning both aspects, they are often unaware. Therefore, those who preach the gospel should help men develop both a sense of need and a sense of sin. In China, it is easier to help men sense their need than to help them sense their sin.
