\u5c06\u6b8b\u7684\u706b\u628a\uff0c\u7942\u4e0d\u5439\u706d\u2026\u2026\u201d\u57fa\u7763\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4e0d\u4f7f\u8857\u4e0a\u542c\u89c1\u7942\u7684\u58f0\u97f3; \u7942\u4e5f\u4e0d\u6298\u65ad\u538b\u4f24\u7684\u82a6\u82c7\uff0c\u4e0d\u5439\u706d\u5c06\u6b8b\u7684\u706b\u628a\u3002\u8fd9\u6307\u660e\u7942\u6ee1\u4e86\u601c\u60af\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u72b9\u592a\u4eba\u4e60\u60ef\u7528\u82a6\u82c7\u4f5c\u7b1b\u5b50\u3002\u5f53\u82a6\u82c7\u538b\u4f24\u4e86\uff0c\u4e0d\u80fd\u518d\u4f5c\u4e50\u5668\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5c31\u6298\u65ad\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e5f\u7528\u9ebb\u71c3\u6cb9\u4f5c\u706b\u628a\u3002\u6cb9\u7528\u5c3d\u4e86\uff0c\u9ebb\u5192\u70df\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5c31\u5439\u706d\u3002\u4e3b\u7684\u767e\u59d3\u6709\u4e9b\u5c31\u50cf\u538b\u4f24\u7684\u82a6\u82c7\uff0c\u4e0d\u80fd\u5439\u51fa\u4e50\u97f3; font-size: 20px;\">Jehovah\u2019s Upholds, His Chosen One in whom Jehovah\u2019s Soul Delights <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Isaiah 42:1 says &#8220;For Jehovah\u2019s Spirit to be upon His Servant&#8221; means that His Spirit and His Servant are one. Christ was called by Jehovah, then was held by his hand and kept by Him. This Christ has been called to be a covenant for the people (49:8b). Christ has also been called to be a light for the nations (Isa. 49:6b), to open the eyes of the blind (Isa. 42:7a), and to bring the prisoner out of prison and those who dwell in darkness from the prison house (Isa. 42:7b).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">The word judgment in 42:1 is significant; it is an inclusive term. If we have the Lord, we have judgment. Without the Lord, we do not have any judgment. When we have the Lord, everything is judged. Christ must be the judgment for everything in our daily life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Not Crying Out, Nor Lifting Up His Voice <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Isaiah 42:2 says, \u201cHe will not cry out, nor lift up His voice, \/ Nor make His voice heard in the street.\u201d This verse is quoted in Matthew 12:19, where it is applied to the Lord Jesus in His ministry on earth. In His ministry the Lord did not strive with others, and He did not promote Himself. He did not seek to make Himself known to people on the streets. In a sense He was very hidden. When the Lord Jesus was living on earth, He never made Himself great. Rather, He always kept Himself small. This is what it means to say that He did not cry out, lift up His voice, or make His voice heard in the street. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">A Bruised Reed He Will Not Break and a Dimly Burning Wick He Will Not Extinguish<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">Isaiah 42:3 and 4 go on to say, \u201cA bruised reed He will not break; \/ And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish&#8230;\u201d Not only did Christ make no noise in the street; He did not break a bruised reed nor quench a smoking flax. This indicates that He was full of mercy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 20px;\">The Jews often made flutes of reeds. When a reed was bruised and no longer useful as a musical instrument, they broke it. They also made torches of flax to burn with oil. When the oil ran out, the flax smoked, and they quenched it. Some of the Lord\u2019s people are like a bruised reed that cannot give a musical sound; others are like smoking flax that cannot give a shining light.
