三、升过了诸天（来4:14，西2:15）
这些是执政和掌权的天使。因着在歌罗西敬拜天使的异端教训，这话该是指邪恶的天使说的。律法是藉天使设立的，并且甚至算作天使的典章（加三19，徒七53）。根据这点，在歌罗西的异端教导人敬拜天使（18），以天使为神和人之间的中保。因此，使徒在对付这异端时，揭示一个事实，就是那包含规条的律法，已经被钉在十字架上了（14），并且那些为首的邪恶天使，也已经被神脱下了。这就剩下基督这独一的中保，祂是一切执政掌权者的元首（10）。这除灭了敬拜天使的异端。
基督不仅从死人中复活，更升到宇宙的至高处。基督胜过了地的引力，胜过了地上鬼魔的阻挠攻击。当祂升到空中时，就如歌罗西二章十五节所说，祂将执政的和掌权的脱下，并他们公然示众。“脱下”原文的意思是如同用鸡毛掸拂下尘埃。当基督升到空中时，执政的和掌权的好像蚊蝇一样蜂涌而来，想阻挠祂升天。主耶稣并不和他们纠缠，只轻轻的像弹灰尘一样把他们扫落，而把他们公然示众。然后祂升到诸天之上，现今坐在神的右边。
歌罗西书二章13-15节揭示神救恩的经纶：(一)叫我们一同与基督活过来；(二)废去礼仪律法的规条；(三)脱下邪恶天使的权势。

III. Having Passed Through the Heavens (Heb. 4:14; Col. 2:15) — Continued
These are the angelic rulers and authorities. Because of the heretical teaching of angel worship in Colossae, this passage should be understood as referring to evil angels. The law was ordained through angels and was even considered the ordinances of angels (Gal. 3:19; Acts 7:53). On the basis of this, the heresy in Colossae taught people to worship angels (Col. 2:18), treating angels as mediators between God and man. Therefore, in dealing with this heresy, the apostle unveiled the fact that the law containing regulations had already been nailed to the cross (v. 14), and that those leading evil angels had already been disarmed by God. This left Christ as the sole Mediator — the Head of all rulers and authorities (v. 10) — thus eliminating the heresy of angel worship.
Christ not only rose from the dead; He also ascended to the highest point in the universe. Christ overcame the gravity of the earth and the obstructions, and attacks of demons on earth. When He ascended into the air, as Colossians 2:15 says, He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public display of them. The original word for “disarmed” carries the sense of brushing off dust with a feather duster. When Christ ascended into the air, the rulers and authorities swarmed around Him like mosquitoes, attempting to hinder His ascension. The Lord Jesus did not engage in a prolonged struggle with them; He simply brushed them off like shaking away dust and made a public display of them. Then He ascended above all the heavens and is now seated at the right hand of God.
Colossians 2:13-15 reveals the economy of God’s salvation: (1) making us alive together with Christ; (2) abolishing the regulations of the ceremonial law; and (3) disarming the power of the evil angels.
