三、升过了诸天（来4:14，西2:15）
我们的大祭司耶稣，已经得以脱下了执政的和掌权的（西二15），而从阴间复活（徒二24，27），且经过了诸天，现今祂坐在宝座上神的右边。
尊大，即绝佳、美妙、荣耀且至尊的。基督在祂的身位（一5，8，二6）、工作（一3，二17，9，14-15，10，三5-6，四8-9，徒二24，27）、以及祂所达到者上（六20，九24，二9），都是至尊至大的。
七章二十六节说，祂是高过诸天的，基督升天时，经过了诸天（四14），所以祂现今不仅在天上（九24），并且高过诸天，远超诸天之上（弗四10）。你的难处有多高？你有甚么难处，比诸天更高么？因为我们的大祭司高过诸天，所以祂能救拔我们，且能拯救我们到底。
主耶稣先是藉着成为肉体（二14），受差遣从神到我们这里，作我们的使徒（三1）、创始者、首领（二10）、那超越摩西的一位（三3）、和我们的真约书亚（8），要带领我们祂这些同伙（一9，三15），进入荣耀和安息（二10，四11），然后祂藉着复活和升天（五5-6），从我们这里回到神那里，作我们的大祭司，在神面前担负我们，并照顾我们一切的需要（二17-18，四15）。

III. Having Passed Through the Heavens (Heb. 4:14; Col. 2:15)
Our great High Priest Jesus has disarmed the rulers and authorities (Col. 2:15), risen from Hades (Acts 2:24, 27), passed through the heavens, and now sits at the right hand of God on the throne.
“Great” here means excellent, wonderful, glorious and supreme. Christ is supreme and great in His person (1:5, 8; 2:6), in His work (1:3; 2:17, 9, 14-15, 10; 3:5-6; 4:8-9; Acts 2:24, 27) and in what He has attained (6:20; 9:24; 2:9).
Hebrews 7:26 says He is exalted above the heavens. When Christ ascended, He passed through the heavens (4:14), so He is now not only in the heavens (9:24) but also above all the heavens, far beyond them (Eph. 4:10). How high is your difficulty? Is there any difficulty you face that is higher than the heavens? Because our great High Priest is exalted above the heavens, He is able to deliver us and save us to the uttermost.
The Lord Jesus first became flesh (2:14) and was sent from God to us, to be our Apostle (3:1), Author and Leader (2:10), the One who surpasses Moses (3:3), and our true Joshua (v. 8) — to lead us, His companions (1:9; 3:15), into glory and rest (2:10; 4:11). Then, through resurrection and ascension (5:5-6), He returned from us to God, to be our great High Priest — bearing us before God and attending to all our needs (2:17-18; 4:15).
