人类经过淫乱而一再的堕落，全然败落，甚至成了肉体。最终，人类变得如此的败坏，使神后悔造人，而完全弃绝人，并想要毁灭人类。但挪亚在神眼中蒙恩，他的敬虔生活以及与神同工，让神有一条出路来实行祂的定旨，并转移这世代。
圣经说，“挪亚是个义人，在当时的世代是个完全人；挪亚与神同行。”虽然全地都是败坏的，但还有一个人，能在神眼中得恩典，这人就是挪亚。挪亚生于一个敬虔的世家，承袭了先祖一切属灵的祝福，并走神救赎生命的路：包括亚当救恩的路、亚伯献祭的路、和以挪士呼求的路。挪亚并且跟随他的曾祖父以诺，在那弯曲、悖谬、淫乱的世代中，与神同行。挪亚代表生命线刚强的延续，并大大加以发展，使这条线更往前。
挪亚能与神同行，乃是因为他在耶和华眼中蒙恩。神给挪亚恩典，加强挪亚，与他站在一起并支持他，使他不受那败坏世代的影响。什么是恩典？恩典乃是神自己临到我们，为我们作事。你软弱吗？神要来作你的力量，神的来到就是恩典。你不能面对你的处境吗？神却临到你，要与你站在一起，为着你，并且在你里面，与你一同面对这处境。这就是恩典。想想今天社会的情形，尽都是邪恶、败坏、犯罪并属鬼魔的。这个时代充满了弯曲、悖谬、奸淫并邪荡，超过了挪亚的世代。我们需要主作我们的恩典，使我们成为今天的挪亚，从这邪恶的世代被分别。要如何支取这恩典呢？乃是藉着坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，说，“主，我在这里，我需要你的恩典。请你来，作我的力量。主，托住我。”

Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of God — Gen. 6:8-9
Mankind had fallen repeatedly into corruption through immorality, becoming entirely depraved — even becoming flesh. Eventually, man became so wicked that God regretted creating man, rejected man completely, and intended to destroy them. Yet Noah found grace in the eyes of God. His godly living and cooperation with God provided a way for God to carry out His purpose and to turn the age.
The Bible says, “Noah was a righteous man, blames in his time; Noah walked with God.” Although the whole earth was corrupt, there was still one man who found grace in God’s eyes — Noah. Noah was born into a godly household, inheriting all the spiritual blessings of his forefathers, and walked in the way of God’s life of redemption: the way of salvation through Adam, the way of offering through Abel, and the way of calling on the name of the Lord through Enosh. Noah also followed his great-grandfather Enoch, walking with God in that crooked, perverse and immoral generation. Noah represented the strong continuation of the line of life and developed it further so that it advanced onward.
Noah could walk with God because he found grace in the eyes of Jehovah. God gave grace to Noah, strengthening him, standing with him and supporting him so that he would not be influenced by that corrupt generation. What is grace? Grace is God Himself coming to us and acting on our behalf. Are you weak? God comes to be your strength — His coming is grace. Can you not face your circumstances? God comes to you, to stand with you, to be for you, and even to be in you, facing the situation together with you. That is grace. Think about today’s society — full of evil, corruption, sin and demonic things. This age is filled with crookedness, perverseness, immorality and lust –surpassing even the days of Noah. We need the Lord to be our grace, to make us the today’s Noahs, separated from this evil generation. How do we receive this grace? It is by coming boldly to the throne of grace and saying, “Lord, here I am. I need Your grace. Please come to be my strength. Lord, uphold me.”
