一、成为人－造出亚当
有一天神成了一个人（约一14）。这人为童女所生，名叫耶稣。神成为人，是由人的被造来豫表。在耶稣生在伯利恒的马槽之先，神仅仅是神；但藉着成为肉体，神成了一个人。这人乃是真亚当。创世记二章的亚当是照片（罗五14），藉基督在肉体中出生，真亚当来了。在园中的亚当叫作首先的亚当，主耶稣这真亚当称为末后的亚当（林前十五45）。末后的亚当才是真亚当。
二、经过死－亚当睡了
有一天真亚当被摆在十字架上，祂在上面睡了六小时，从上午九时到午后三时（可十五25，33）。这是创世记所说，“耶和华神使他沉睡，…于是取下他的一条肋骨”（创二21），为他建造一个妻子的话所表征的。亚当的沉睡是基督为产生教会死在十宇架上的豫表。这就是基督那释放生命、分赐生命、繁殖生命、扩增生命、繁衍生命的死，由一粒麦子落在地里死了，长起结出许多子粒（约十二24），好作成饼，就是身体－教会（林前十17）所表征。藉着这样产生教会，神在基督里就作到了人里面作生命。首先，神成为人；其次，这位有神圣生命和性情的人，经过死与复活，扩增到许多信徒里面，使他们成为众肢体，组成真夏娃，和祂相配，成为祂的补满。藉着这样的过程，神在基督里带着祂的生命和性情，就作到人里面，使人有祂同样的生命和性情，好与祂相配，作祂的补满。

What Did God Do in Order to Produce a Counterpart for Himself?
1. Becoming a Man – Creating Adam
One day, God became a man (John 1:14). This man was born of a virgin and was named Jesus. God becoming man was prefigured by the creation of man. Before Jesus was born in the manger in Bethlehem, God was only God. But through incarnation, God became a man. This man is the real Adam. The Adam in Genesis chapter 2 was merely a picture (Rom. 5:14), and with Christ’s birth in the flesh, the real Adam came. The Adam in the garden was called the first Adam, while the Lord Jesus, the real Adam, is called the last Adam (1 Cor. 15:45). The last Adam is the true Adam.
2. Passing Through Death – Adam Slept
One day, the real Adam was placed on the cross, and He “slept” there for six hours — from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Mark 15:25, 33). This corresponds to what is spoken in Genesis: “Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man… and He took one of his ribs” (Gen. 2:21), which was used to build a wife for him. Adam’s deep sleep was a type of Christ’s death on the cross for the producing of the church. This is the death that releases life, imparts life, reproduces life, increases life and multiplies life — signified by a grain of wheat falling into the ground and dying, and then bearing many grains (John 12:24), which are made into one bread — the Body, which is the church (1 Cor. 10:17). Through this process of producing the church, God in Christ has worked Himself into man as life. First, God became a man. Then this man, who possessed both the divine life and nature, passed through death and resurrection and was multiplied into many believers, who became the many members, forming the real Eve, matching Him and becoming His counterpart. Through this process, God in Christ, with His life and nature, has entered into man, so that man may have the same life and nature as God and be able to match Him and become His counterpart.
