神完成创造的工而安息
当神将人造好之后，神赐福给人，又使人生养众多，遍满地面，并且治理这地。神也要人为祂管理海里的鱼、空中的鸟、和地上各样行动的活物。神看着祂所造的一切都甚好，这是第六日。天地万物都造齐了，到第七日，神造物的工已经完毕，神就在第七日歇了祂一切的工，安息了。神又赐福给第七日，定为圣日，因为在这日神歇了祂一切创造的工，就安息了。
神是丰富的，神的福也是丰富的，但在人被造以先，还没有对象来完满的接受神的福。神创造人以后，祂在地上能看见一种生命之物，有祂的形像并有祂的管治权，神就立刻把祂丰满的福赐给人。神所赐给人的福乃是结果子、扩增、繁增并遍满地面。因着亚当有了神的形像，并有神赐的管治权，神就看祂所造的一切都甚好。因此，到第七天，神就歇了祂一切造物的工，安息了。神安息的原因是祂的荣耀得了显明。因为人有了祂的形像，并要运用祂的权柄对付撒但。只要人彰显神的形像，并对付神的仇敌，神就能安息，人也与神同享这安息。每当我们吃喝享受主，我们里面自然会有一种生命的涌流。这时，神就从我们身上得到彰显，神与我们就都得着安息。
人既是神创造的中心，为着在地上彰显神并作神的代表。人要如何把神彰显出来呢？关键在于人里面的灵。我们曾说过，人的灵乃是耶和华的灯，神的灵住在我们的灵里。我们的灵是吃主、喝主，并消化吸收祂的器皿。神切望我们吃祂。如果我们告诉神，我们要吃祂，祂会很欢喜。我们需要借着吃主喝主，将祂更多的盛装进来。当器皿装满某一样东西时，会自然满溢出来。我们里面若盛装更多的基督，就能更多让祂涌流出来。这样别人就会看见，我们这尘土所造的“瓦器”中，竟有莫大的宝贝彰显出来，那就是神自己。阿利路亚，我们是贵重的器皿，是蒙怜悯、早预备得荣耀的器皿。

God Rested after Completing His Work of Creation – Gen. 2:2
After God created man, He blessed man and told him to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. God also intended for man to rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky and every living thing that moves on the earth. God saw everything He had made, and it was very good — this was the sixth day. Thus, the heavens and the earth and all their host were finished. On the seventh day, God completed His work of creation, and He rested from all His work. God then blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on this day He rested from all His work of creation.
God is rich and His blessing is also rich. But before man was created, there was no suitable vessel to fully receive His blessing. After God created man, He saw on the earth a living being with His image and endowed with His authority. Then, God immediately bestowed His abundant blessing upon man. The blessing God gave to man was to be fruitful, to increase, to multiply and to fill the earth. Because Adam had God’s image and the authority given by God, God saw that all He had made was “very good.” Therefore, on the seventh day, God rested from all His creating work. God’s rest came because His glory was now manifested. Since man bore His image and would exercise His authority to deal with Satan, God could rest. As long as man expresses God’s image and deals with God’s enemy, God can rest, and man also partakes of that rest with God.
Since man is the center of God’s creation — to express God on earth and to represent Him — how can man express God? The key lies in man’s spirit. As mentioned earlier, man’s spirit is the lamp of Jehovah, and God’s Spirit dwells in our spirit. Our spirit is the vessel by which we eat, drink and absorb the Lord. God earnestly desires that we eat Him. If we tell God, “Lord, I want to eat You,” He will be delighted. We need to eat and drink the Lord so that we can be filled with Him more and more. When a vessel is filled with something, it overflows naturally. If we are filled more with Christ within, He will overflow more from us. Then others will see that within this earthen “vessel” made from dust, there is a great treasure being expressed — that treasure is God Himself. Hallelujah! We are honorable vessels — vessels of mercy, prepared beforehand for glory!
