第一天：造出光
因着撒但和一些天使的背叛，神就审判了他们，神也审判了诸天与地。地被深水淹没，变成空虚荒废，一片黑暗，充满了死亡。然而，神并没有忘记祂起初创造的目的。因此，经过了好长一段时间，神重新修造大地，使地得着恢复，并且进一步创造。
神的恢复与进一步的创造，开始于三件事：神的灵、神的话、与神的光。首先，神的灵来了。『神的灵运行在水面上。』这意思是说，神的灵来运行，预备产生生命。这圣灵的来是生出生命的第一个条件。接着神说，『要有光。』天上就有了光。神说话，神的话来了就带进光。光来驱除笼罩着死水的黑暗，使光暗分开。
回想我们得救前的光景：那时我们只是荒废和空虚，并且被黑暗所笼罩。有一天，主耶稣来了，祂作工在我们心里，覆翼在我们里面的死亡与深渊之上。那灵在我们里面，柔和慈爱的覆翼并作工，使我们愿意向祂认罪并悔改，转向祂并信靠祂，我们就从那灵得着重生。接着我们里面有了神的说话，那话就在我们里面照亮。
第二天：神将光暗分开，并创造空气
神又说，『诸水之间要有空气，将水分为上下。』空气是什么？就是大气，是包围地球的空气。若是没有大气，这地上就不可能生出生命。神创造空气包围地，使地能产生生命。
空气以下的水，代表属地的事，空气以上的水，代表属天的事。我们得救以前，里面是黑暗的。然而当我们得救以后，不只光进来了，空气也进来了。这空气进到我们里面，将属天的事和属地的事分开，把神所悦纳上面的事，和祂所不悦纳下面的事分开。有些事情并不是黑暗的，但却是属地的。我们需要借着吃喝主的话，将我们里面属天的事和属地的事分开，圣的事与俗的事分开。

God’s Restoration and Further Creation: The First Day and Second Day – Gen. 1:2-8
The First Day: Creating Light
Because of Suntan’s rebellion with some angels, God judged them also judged the heavens and the earth. The earth was submerged by deep waters, becoming formless and void, in complete darkness, filled with death. However, God did not forget His original purpose in creation. Therefore, after a very long period of time, God rebuilt the earth, bringing restoration to the earth and further creation.
God’s restoration and further creation began with three things: God’s Spirit, God’s word and God’s light. First, God’s Spirit came. “The Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.” This means that God’s Spirit came to move, preparing to produce life. The coming of the Holy Spirit is the first condition for generating life. Then God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light in the heavens. When God spoke, God’s word came and brought in light. Light came to drive away the darkness that shrouded the waters of death, separating light from darkness.
Recalling our condition before salvation: at that time we were merely formless and void, covered by darkness. One day, the Lord Jesus came, He worked in our hearts, brooding over the death and abyss within us. The Spirit within us, is gently and lovingly brooding and working, made us willing to confess our sins to Him and repent, turn to Him and trust in Him, and we were regenerated by the Spirit. Then within us there was God’s speaking, and that word illuminated within us.
The Second Day: God Separated Light from Darkness and Created the Atmosphere
God also said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” What is the expanse? It is the atmosphere, the air that surrounds the earth. Without the atmosphere, it would be impossible for life to emerge on this earth. God created the atmosphere to surround the earth, enabling the earth to produce life.
The waters below the expanse represent earthly things, and the waters above the expanse represent heavenly things. Before we were saved, within us was darkness. However, after we were saved, not only did light come in, but the atmosphere also came in. This atmosphere entered into us, separating heavenly things from earthly things, separating the things above that God receive from the things below that He does not receive. Certain things are not in dark, earthly. We need to separate the heavenly things from the earthly things within us, the holy things from the common things, by eating and drinking the Lord’s word.
