经文：我是葡萄树，你们是枝子；住在我里面的，我也住在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。（约十五5，另译）
其次，我们还必须看见，传福音对于神，对于主，乃是生命的流露。福音是从我们里面，把基督的生命流露出去；福音乃是我们里面神的生命满溢出去。要知道，传福音乃是结属灵的果子。任何一棵树结果子，都是因为它里面生命的汁浆满溢，也就是里面的生命成熟到一个地步，自然就结出果子。我们传福音带人得救，就是结属灵的果子。这不是仅仅在于里面的热心、兴奋、意志，或靠着外面的劳碌、奔跑、活动。虽然这些也都有相当的地位，和一定的价值；但传福音真实地内容，乃在于我们里面生命的满溢。当我们里面的生命满溢出来，自然就产生出福音的果子。
从这一面说，我们实在需要回到主面前，有一个好的对付，我们需要在主面前有更新的奉献。相信大部分弟兄姊妹，在神面前最少都奉献过一次。特别是同工、长老、执事、家排负责的弟兄姊妹，既是事奉主，愿意火热为主传福音的人，每一位在神面前，最少都有过一次相当厉害的奉献。然而我们应该知道，在每一个新的环境、时机和遭遇里，我们都需要更新我们在主面前的奉献。比方有重大的福音活动时，我们既在其中有分，就必须在主面前有重新的奉献；并且不仅重新有奉献，还必须像献燔祭那样，有更深的对付和洁净。

The Gospel as the Outflow of Life to God (1) – John 15:5
Secondly, we must also see that preaching the gospel, in relation to God and to the Lord, is the life outflow. The gospel flows out the life of Christ from within us; the gospel is the overflowing of God’s life within us. We need to understand that preaching the gospel is the bearing of spiritual fruit. Any tree bears fruit because the sap of life within it is overflowing – that is, the life within has matured to such a degree that it naturally produces fruit. When we preach the gospel and bring people to salvation, we are bearing spiritual fruit. This does not merely depend on inward zeal, excitement or determination, nor on outward labor, running or activities. Though these have their place and value, the true content of gospel preaching lies in the overflow of the life within us. When the life within us overflows, the fruit of the gospel is naturally produced.
From this perspective, we truly need to return to the Lord and have proper dealings before Him. We need to renew our consecration to the Lord. Most brothers and sisters, especially those who serve – the coworkers, elders, deacons and home group leaders – have consecrated themselves to the Lord at least once. Since we serve the Lord and desire to zealously preach the gospel for Him, each one of us has likely made at least one thorough consecration before God. However, we must realize that in every new environment, opportunity and experience, we need to renew our consecration before the Lord. For example, when there is a major gospel move and we are involved, we must come before the Lord again with a fresh consecration. Moreover, this renewed consecration should not be superficial – it must involve deeper dealings and cleansing, like offering a burnt offering.
