弟兄姊妹们必须看见，传福音完全是一件争战的事。从这个争战的立场来说，我们这个人在主面前，必须有很厉害地对付。我们的存心、意念，我们的脚步、立场，到底是在哪里？我们里面或许还有一点地方是通着仇敌的，我们里面或许还有一点地方是通着世界的。什么时候，我们里面或外面，还有一点通着世界的，是和仇敌相联的，请记得，我们就一定落到撒但的权下，没有办法从事属灵的争战。如果我们要在主面前有属灵的争战，我们的里面、外面就都得在主面前有很厉害地对付；我们必须没有一点是落到仇敌手下，也没有一点是和世界通着，是和世界相联的。
为着有争战的能力，我们必须在主面前有很厉害地对付。这不是说我们没有失败，也不是说我们达到了完全的境地。若是那样，我们每一次站起来，就不需要血的遮盖了。我们承认，虽然我们有诸般的软弱，或许仍是失败连连；但我们能俯伏在主宝血的底下，接受祂宝血的遮盖。我们能对仇敌宣告说，我们虽有失败，虽有软弱，但这不是我们甘心的，只因我们还在旧造里，还行走在这世界里；虽然在有些地方我们受到了玷污，也的确失败了，但我们里头蒙主眷顾，仍然盼望要站在神这一边，起来反对祂的仇敌。我们要在我们的渴慕里，靠着主的宝血，在神面前有这样的宣告，有这样的对付。
我们必须一再的靠着血，在仇敌跟前指给他看见：虽然我们的旧造软弱，虽然世界给我们相当的玷污，但我们里面的渴望，乃是愿意站在神的一边。我们也的确靠着祂的恩力，站在神这一边。我们不愿意有一点地方是和撒但相通的，也不愿意有一点地方是和世界相联的。我们必须在主面前，有这样深刻的对付，有这样刚强的宣告，我们才是在这里从事属灵的争战，也才是在属灵争战中传扬神国度福音的人。这是说到关于我们所站的地位，关于我们争战的这一面。

The Gospel as Spiritual Warfare (2) – Eph. 6:12-13
Brothers and sisters must see that preaching the gospel is entirely a matter of warfare. From the standpoint of this warfare, we ourselves must be thoroughly dealt with before the Lord. Where are our intentions, our thoughts, our steps and our standing? Perhaps there are still places within us that are open to the enemy; perhaps there are still places within us that are connected to the world. Whenever there is still something within or without us that is linked to the world or associated with the enemy, please remember: we will inevitably fall under Satan’s authority and be unable to engage in spiritual warfare. If we want to have spiritual warfare before the Lord, then both our inner being and our outward conduct must be thoroughly dealt with. There must be nothing in us under the enemy’s hand and nothing that is connected to the world.
To have the power for warfare, we need to be deeply dealt with before the Lord. This does not mean we have no failures, or that we have reached a state of perfection. If that were the case, then every time we stood up, we would have no need of the covering of the blood. We acknowledge that though we have many weaknesses, and perhaps repeated failures, we can still bow under the precious blood of the Lord and receive His covering. We can declare to the enemy that although we fail or are weak, this is not our heart’s desire. It is only because we are still in the old creation, still walking in this world. Indeed we have been defiled in some areas and have truly failed, yet we are still under the Lord’s care and have the hope within us to stand on God’s side and rise up against His enemy. In our longing, by the Lord’s blood, we must make such a declaration and have such a dealing before God.
Over and over again, by the blood we must point out to the enemy that though our old creation is weak, and the world has stained us to some extent, our inner desire is to stand on God’s side. And indeed, by His grace and power, we do stand on God’s side. We do not want even a small part of us to be connected with Satan, nor do we want any part to be linked with the world. We must have this kind of deep dealing before the Lord, and such a strong declaration – only then are we truly engaging in spiritual warfare and preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God within that warfare. This is regarding the ground on which we stand and the position from which we fight.
