经文：我若传福音，于我原没有可夸的，因为我是不得已的。若不传福音，我便有祸了。我若甘心作这事，就有赏赐……（林前九16-17，另译）
传福音的赏赐
（一）必得赏赐 ——“传福音，……我若甘心作这事，就有赏赐。”（林前九16-17）这里所说的赏赐，必定包括说这话的使徒保罗，在他所写的提摩太后书四章七至八节所说的公义冠冕。此外还包括些什么，就很难言定。但总必是荣耀的。
不传福音的亏损
（一）有祸了——“若不传福音，我便有祸了。”（林前九16）这是那忠心一生为主传福音的使徒保罗说的话。他说，不传福音就有祸了。到底有些什么祸，我们难以查知。不过总不是叫人感觉舒服、光荣的好事情。这该是我们的警惕！
（二）被剪除——“凡在我（主）里面不结果子的枝子，祂（父）就剪去。”（约十五2）这是主耶稣亲自警告我们的话，就是凡属祂不结果子的枝子，父就从祂身上剪去，叫他失去作祂枝子，住在祂里面的一切供应和祝福。这又是何等的警戒！

A Reward for Preaching the Gospel
A Reward – “For if I preach the gospel…I do this voluntarily, I have a reward” (1 Cor. 9:16-17). The reward mentioned here includes, as the apostle Paul refers to in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, the crown of righteousness. While the exact nature of the reward remains beyond description, it will surely be glorious and worthy of our efforts.
Loss from Not Preaching the Gospel
- Woe to Me – “…for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!” (1 Cor. 9:16). This strong warning comes from Paul, a faithful apostle who devoted his life to spreading the gospel. Although the exact nature of this “woe” is unclear, it undeniably implies something grievous and dishonorable – a serious caution for all believers.
- Being Cut Off – “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away” (John 15:2). This is a direct warning from Jesus Himself. Any branch in Him that fails to bear fruit is cut off by the Father, losing the privilege of being a branch, and the supply and blessings of abiding in Him. How serious of the Lord’s warning!
