罪藉着亚当的过犯进入
罗马五至八章,似乎把“罪”人位化了。罪不仅是行为,乃是像一个人,能进入(罗五12),作王(罗五21),在人身上作主(罗六14),诱骗并杀死人(罗七11),住在人里面,叫人作自己所不愿意的。罪是活的,而且非常活跃,所以这罪必是那恶者撒但的邪恶性情。撒但藉着亚当的堕落,已经将他自己注射到人里面,如今成了罪的性情,居住、行动、并作工在堕落的人里面。罪实际上是邪恶的人位。藉着亚当的过犯,罪进入了。
多人构成了罪人,包括我们在内
我们不但成了罪人;我们乃是构成了罪人。我们不是受造的罪人,乃是构成的罪人。一种非神所造的元素注射到我们这人里面,将我们构成了罪人。我们不是偶然成为罪人,乃是构成为罪人。罪已作到我们里面,并构成到我们这人里面。所以,罪不只是外面的行为,乃是我们的构成里内在、主观的元素。因此,我们天生就是典型的罪人。
众人都被定罪而死,死作了众人的王
众人都是从亚当而生,并生在亚当里。所以,藉着亚当一次的过犯,他被定罪的时候,众人都在他里面被定罪而死。死成了管辖众人的王。“罪怎样在死中作王”(罗五21),死也照样藉着罪作王。
亚当过犯最终的结果是,在亚当里众人都死了
不要说你活着,因你像别人一样,都是正在死。你是活而死。你越活,就越死。就一面说,人不是在活,乃是在死。我们都是生而死,因为一个有权势的王,名叫死,在管辖我们。它藉着罪,就是它的先锋,而就职。罪叫死有权势。因此,众人都在死的管辖之下。这可怕的人位已就职为王。我们生在亚当里,就开始死。在人完全死去以前,他们犯罪,而罪加速死的时刻来到。你犯罪越多,死得越快;你犯罪越少,死得越慢。你若不愿死得快,就不该犯罪。我们必须远离罪。

The Result of Adam’s Transgression – Rom. 5:15-16
Sin Entered Through Adam’s Transgression
It seems that sin is mentioned in Romans 5 through 8 in a personified way. It is like a person who can reign (Rom. 5:21), who can lord it over people (Rom. 6:14), who can deceive and kill people (Rom. 7:11), who can dwell in people and do things against their will. Sin is alive and exceedingly active. Thus, this sin must be the evil nature of Satan, the evil one, dwelling, acting, and working in fallen mankind. Sin is actually an evil person. Through Adam’s transgression sin entered.
Many Were Constituted Sinners Including Us
We not only were made sinners; we were constituted sinners. We were not created sinners, but constituted sinners. An element not created by God was injected into our being and constituted us sinners. We are not sinners by accident; we are sinners by constitution. Sin has been wrought into us and constituted into our being. Therefore, sin is not just an outward deed, but an inward, subjective element in our constitution. Thus, we are typical sinners by nature.
All Men Were Condemned unto Death, Death Reigned over All Men
All men are born of Adam and in Adam. So, through Adam’s one offense all men have been condemned to death in him as he was condemned. Thus, death reigns over all men. Death has become a king ruling over all. “As sin reigned in death” (Rom. 5:21) so death reigns through sin.
In Adam All Die As the Final Result of Adam’s Transgression
Do not say that you are living, for you, like everyone else, are dying. You are living to die. The more you live, the more you die. In a sense, people are not living but dying. We are all born to die, because we have a powerful king over us named death. He was inaugurated by sin, his forerunner. Sin brought death into power. Thus, all men are under the reign of death. This dreadful person has been inaugurated as king. When we were born in Adam, we began to die. Before people die absolutely, they sin, and sin hastens the hour of death. The more you sin, the faster you die; the less you sin, the slower you die. If you do not want to die quickly, you should not sin. We must stay away from sin.
