犹大六及七节有力的证明，创世记六章所题神的儿子们是堕落的天使。堕落的天使与异类的人行淫，立了一个榜样，使所多玛和蛾摩拉去跟从。在这一点上，我们需要仔细读犹大六及七节：“又有不守自己权位，离弃自己住处的天使，主用永远的锁炼把他们拘留在幽冥里，等候大日的审判；又如所多玛、蛾摩拉和周围城邑的人，也照他们的样子一味的行淫，随从相异的肉体，就受永火的刑罚，立为鉴戒。”
当彼得和犹大写到堕落时，都引用创世记所记载的事实为背景。犹大六节说，有些天使不守自己的权位，这里的权位意思是权柄的首位。他们不守原有的尊荣和地位，离开了自己的住处。根据以弗所二章二节和六章十二节，他们的住处是在空中。神的住处是在第三层天，人的住处是在地上，而撒但和他使者的住处是在空中。这些天使离开了他们空中的住处，来到地上，并与人发生不法的婚姻关系。神为他们存留的是黑暗里永远的锁炼，叫他们等候大日的审判。

The Third Fall of Men (2) – Jude 1:6
During the third fall of man, those fallen angels under Satan’s dominion did certain things that defiled humanity. They made humanity exceedingly sinful and became a kind of hybrid. Humanity was no longer pure; it actually became a mixed race combined with the fallen angels. Few Christians know that humanity was defiled by mingling with the fallen angels — fallen spirits. Yet the Bible does indeed record this fact. At the time of man’s third fall, some fallen angels, under Satan’s authority, descended to the earth, took human bodies, and by means of those bodies unlawfully married the daughters of men.
The fallen angels committed sexual immorality with strange (other) humans. Jude 6–7 powerfully confirms that the “sons of God” mentioned in Genesis 6 are fallen angels. The fallen angels committed sexual immorality with an alien kind of humanity and set an example that Sodom and Gomorrah followed. On this point we need to read Jude 6–7 carefully: “And the angels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling — these he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness, awaiting the judgment of the great day; just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.”
When Peter and Jude wrote about the fall, they both cited the facts recorded in Genesis as background. Jude 6 says that some angels did not keep their own domain; “domain” here means the preeminent place of authority. They did not keep their original honor and rank, and they abandoned their proper dwelling. According to Ephesians 2:2 and 6:12, their dwelling was in the air. God’s dwelling is in the third heaven, man’s dwelling is on the earth, and Satan and his messengers dwell in the air. These angels left their dwelling in the air, came down to the earth, and entered into unlawful marriages with humans. God has reserved for them eternal chains in darkness, keeping them until the great day of judgment.
