人已成了“蛇”
由于撒但已把他自己注射到人里面，所有的人在神眼中就都成了蛇。虽然你认为自己是人，但在神眼中你乃是蛇。按照马太三章七节，施浸者约翰称宗教的犹太人为“毒蛇之种。”他们是蛇。约翰似乎是说，“你们以为自己是宗教人士，你们很宗教，但你们不认识你们是毒蛇之种。”
主耶稣在解释撒种的比喻时，曾用过“恶者之子”（太十三38）这辞。恶者是谁？就是那蛇撒但，他是那恶者，一切跟从他的人都是他的儿子。撒但的跟从者不是他的养子，乃是他亲生的儿子。因此，主耶稣在约翰八章四十四节说，“你们是出于那父魔鬼。”主似乎是说，“你们的父是魔鬼，因为你们有魔鬼的生命，魔鬼的生命和性情就在你们里面。”
人有了蛇的性情和生命
我们既是魔鬼的儿女，从蛇所生，就都有蛇的性情和生命（约壹三12）。没有人能否认或反驳这事实，因为我们看到撒但的性情和生命就在我们自己的孩子里面。表面看小孩子很可爱，然而，他们越长大，里面蛇的性情就越显露出来。他们并没有受训练去表现蛇的性情和生命，但这性情和生命自然而然的就显出来了。
邪灵运行在堕落的人里面
撒但，那蛇，就是那在堕落之人里面运行之灵的首领，他是个邪灵（弗二2）。这邪灵不是静止休眠的，乃是活跃的运行在悖逆之子里面。有些基督徒自以为：“我们得救了，现今在基督的身体里，撒但与我们无分无关了。”这想法不是圣灵的声音;这是那狡猾的蛇的声音，这想法的传布乃是蛇的谎言。我们都必须保持警觉，因为就是现今，那狡滑者仍然和我们在一起。只要我们在旧造里，那蛇就留在我们里面。

Man Has Become a “Serpent”
Since Satan has injected himself into man, all people have become serpents in God’s eyes. Although you may think you are human, in God’s eyes, you are a serpent. According to Matthew 3:7, John the Baptist called the religious Jews a “brood of vipers.” They were serpents. It is as if John were saying, “You think you are religious people, that you are devout, but you don’t realize you are a brood of vipers”.
When the Lord Jesus explained the parable of the sower, He used the term “sons of the evil one” (Matt. 13:38). Who is the evil one? The serpent — Satan. He is the evil one, and all who follow him are his sons. The followers of Satan are not adopted sons; they are his real offspring. That’s why Jesus said in John 8:44, “You are of your father the devil.” The Lord seemed to be saying, “Your father is the devil because you have the life of the devil; the devil’s life and nature are in you”.
Man Has the Nature and Life of the Serpent
Since we are children of the devil and born of the serpent, we all have the serpent’s nature and life (1 John 3:12). No one can deny or refute this fact, because we can see the nature and life of Satan in our own children. On the surface, little children seem to be sweet and adorable. But as they grow up, the serpent’s nature within them becomes increasingly evident. They were never trained to behave this way, yet the serpent’s nature and life manifest spontaneously.
The Evil Spirit Operates Within Fallen Man
Satan — the serpent — is the ruler of the spirit that is now operating in the sons of disobedience; he is an evil spirit (Eph. 2:2). This evil spirit is not dormant or inactive. He is actively at work in fallen human beings. Some Christians may think, “Now that we are saved and in the Body of Christ, Satan has nothing to do with us anymore”. This thought is not from the Holy Spirit; it is the voice of the cunning serpent. The spreading of this idea is the serpent’s lie. We must all stay alert, because even now, the crafty one is still with us. As long as we remain in the old creation, the serpent remains in us.
