五、关于人生的意义
关于人生的意义，也是传福音的一条路。有人以为人生是个谜，他们不知道人活着有什么意义。人只会吃、喝、睡觉么？有一部分的人会问这个问题。所以我们可以从这个问题来传福音，告诉人说，如果人光会吃、喝、睡，就人的确是活着没意思；人只有认识神，活着才有意思。一个人认识神创造人的心意，他活着才觉得有意思。
我们要告诉人，圣经怎样说到神造人的事，怎样说到人堕落了，神来拯救人。人若没有得救，乃是缺了中心，失了人生的意义。神创造天、地、人，乃是为着祂自己；神是一切的中心，更是人的中心。所以人若离了神，就变成吃饭、睡觉的机器了。但人有了神，就有了意思，有了人生的意义和目标，就不再感觉人生虚空了。
以上所说的五件事，可以说是人最大的需要了。大部分的人，差不多就有这五样的需要。所以传以上五样的福音，就能把所有的人应付得差不多了。我们要学习怎样把这五样中的一样给人，让他们看见需要，也看见满足需要的路。我们知道这种需要，但是罪人不知道；所以我们知道的人要传给他们。

5. Concerning the Meaning of Life
Another way to preach the gospel is to speak about the meaning of life. Some people consider life to be a mystery – they don’t know why they are alive. Is life just about eating, drinking and sleeping? Some people genuinely ask this question. So we can use this question as a starting point to preach the gospel. We can tell them: If life is just about eating, drinking and sleeping, then yes, life really has no meaning. But only when a person knows God does life become meaningful. When one understands God’s purpose in creating man, they will begin to see that their life has meaning.
We should tell people what the Bible says about how God created mankind, how man fell, and how God came to save us. A person who hasn’t been saved is someone who lacks a center – they have lost the meaning of life. God created the heavens, the earth and man for His own purpose. God is the center of everything – and especially the center of human life. So if a person is separated from God, they become nothing more than a machine for eating and sleeping. But once a person has God, their life has meaning and purpose, no longer feeling that life is vanity.
These five matters we’ve discussed can be considered the greatest needs of humanity. Most men can be reached by at least one of these five needs. So when we preach the gospel, we should learn how to share at least one of these five aspects with people – helping them to see their need, and also helping them to see the way to have that need being fulfilled. We, who know the truth, have to pass it on to those who do not know it.
