研究罪人的心
我们也要学习研究罪人的心。一个人应当读圣经，也应当读人的心。我们天天所碰着的人，都有不同之处，但也有许多相同的地方。
譬如首先我们可以大家一同研究良心。我们要让弟兄姊妹们作见证，讲述他们是怎样得救的。我们要查知他们的感觉是从那里起头，然后再查他们的感觉在那里到了最高之处。他们是听了多少道，良心才感觉有罪？他们是因长篇大道而知道有罪，或者是因一两句话而知道有罪？
我们也要查考人的思想。人本来都有古怪的思想，都想自己是聪明的人。我们要问弟兄姊妹：头一次你的思想怎样有了神的光？头一次你的思想是怎样转过来的？你知道了以后，下一次再遇见同样的人，就可以用同样的方法使他得救。神在别人身上怎样作，祂也喜欢在同样的人身上再作。这就成了一个律。你找到律，你再传福音，就很容易。一个人有思想上的难处，你能解决了，以后的事，你就都好解决了。比如有一个女孩子，因为母亲死掉，她要遵照母亲的话，就不肯得救。但路加十六章是说，在阴间的亲人，反而盼望家里的人早得救。你请她读这段话，她的问题解决了，底下就好办。
读过人的思想，再读人的意志，你要查考人如何肯决定。你要读自己，读弟兄姊妹，也读初信的人。你要知道人怎样肯决定，然后当你出去传福音时，再用同样的方法，叫人肯决定。这些你都研究了，救人的事，你就学习得差不多了。

Studying the Hearts of Sinners – Matt. 4:19
We must also learn to study the heart of sinners. A person should read the Bible, but also read the hearts of people. The people we meet daily are different in many ways, yet also similar in many ways.
For example, we can start by studying the conscience together. We should ask the brothers and sisters to give testimonies, sharing how they were saved. We should find out where their senses first began, and then find out where their senses reached their highest point. How many messages did they hear before their conscience began to sense they were convicted of sin? Did they realize their sin through long sermons, or was it through just one or two words?
We must also study man’s thinking. Man naturally has unusual ideas and often thinks he is smart. We should ask the brothers and sisters: How did the light of God first enter your thoughts? How did your thinking first begin to turn? Once you know, the next time you meet a similar person, you can use the same method to lead them to salvation. How God works on others; sometimes He likes to work the same way on similar types of man. This becomes a rule. Once you find the rule, preaching the gospel becomes much easier. If a person has trouble in their thinking and you can resolve it, the rest becomes easy. For instance, there was a girl who, because her mother had died, wanted to obey her mother’s will and refused to be saved. But Luke 16 says that relatives in Hades hope that their family members would be saved quickly. You lead her to read that passage, and once her problem is resolved, everything else becomes easy.
After reading about man’s thinking, we should study man’s will – how people are willing to make decisions. You should study your own will, study the wills of brothers and sisters and the new believers’. You need to know how people come to make decisions. Then, when you preach the gospel, you may use the same methods to help man decide. Once you have studied these things, you will have covered most of the work of saving a man.
