两件必须注意的事
我们学习传福音，有两件事要注意：第一，要明白神的话，找有钩子的话；第二，要明白罪人的心，也就是要明白所救的人是什么情形。关于头一点，我们特别要把新约中关于传福音的圣经节，详细的研读过。我们要从马太一章开始，看罪人是如何的黑暗，如何在罪恶中；看主是如何传福音，人如何就动了。我们要注意主怎样对付罪人，也要注意人怎样接受主。这样，当你再去传福音时，就好像把一个活的罪人摆在眼前，你再试试怎样把他转过来。
找有钩子的话
我们传福音绝不该只是为着传福音的消息，也不可用福音惹起罪人的兴奋来。我们总是在神的话语里面传，好像话里面有钩子能钩住人。我们传福音的话语，要好像有钩子能钩住人；我们不光只传话，乃是要用话钩住人。我们总不该懒惰，而不用钩子。我们要记得，传福音不是福音的道理有效，乃是钩子有效。所以我们要常常查考，研究人到底是因着什么话而得救。我们若详细研究，就会发现，人都是因着有钩子的话而得救的。所以传福音不必注重讲清楚，只要有几句是钩子的话，你每次用，人都能得救。

Two Things That Must Be Noted – Luke 4:18-19
In learning to preach the gospel, there are two matters we must pay attention to: First, we must understand God’s word and find words that have a hook; second, we must understand the heart of the sinner – that is, we must know the condition of the one being saved. Regarding the first point, we especially need to carefully study the Bible verses in the New Testament related to preaching the gospel. We should start from chapter one of Matthew, seeing how dark the sinners’ hearts are and how they are in sin; seeing how the Lord preached the gospel and how people were stirred. We also need to observe how the Lord dealt with sinners and also how people received the Lord. In this way, when you preach the gospel again, it will be as if you have a living sinner before your eyes, and you can try to see how to turn him around.
Finding Words with a Hook
When we preach the gospel, we must never do it merely for the sake of delivering a gospel message, nor should we use the gospel to stir up the sinner’s excitement. We must always preach within God’s word, as if there are hooks hidden in the words that can catch people. The words we use in preaching the gospel should be like hooks that can catch people; we are not merely speaking words but using words to hook people. We must never be lazy and neglect to use hooks. We must remember that in preaching the gospel, it is not the doctrine of the gospel that is effective, but the hook that is effective. Therefore, we must often examine and study what words cause people to be saved. If we study carefully, we will find that people are saved because of words that have a hook. Thus, in preaching the gospel, it is not necessary to focus on explaining everything clearly, as long as a few words have a hook, man can be saved if you use them each time.
