人得着神的路（接上篇）
这不是一个空洞的理论；这乃是一个属灵的实际。有一位主，有一位神，祂是灵，能进到人里面，叫人在灵里得着满足，同时忧伤的心情变作喜乐，黑暗的人生变为光明。
我认识一位朋友，曾到日本留学，回国后在政界相当有地位，最后作到天津特别市的市长。然而，当我见到他时，他是躺在病床上。我一见到他，他就落下泪，对我说，“我各种样的享受都尝到了；我受过高等教育，居过高位。论财富，我是相当富有。论家庭，我的妻子、儿女都在身边，可以说有个圆满的家庭。今天我躺在病床上，不知道为什么缘故，里面总有一种痛苦。我说不出这痛苦的原因，好像我缺了一个东西，好像我渴望要得到什么，但我不知道这个缺乏、这个渴望是什么，更不知道我怎样才能得到这东西。好不好请你指引我一条路，能解决我里面的痛苦？”
我轻声对他说，“先生，这是很简单地一件事。人生的真意义，就是神自己。从某一面说，你的经历是非常的正确而完整：高等教育你受过，高的地位你居过；财富相当富有，家庭也很美满，可以说什么你都有了。然而在你深处，的确还有所缺。你所感觉缺少的，不是别的，乃是神自己。先生，你是有头脑、有思想的人。请想想，你这个人是为着什么？你之为人，在宇宙间到底有什么意义？其实你的人生就是神，神就是你的人生意义。没有神，你的人生就没有意义。”
他一听见这话，眼睛立刻明亮起来，追问说，“我怎样得着这位神？”我说，“很简单，今天祂乃是一位灵，无所不在，等候着随时要进到相信、接受祂的人里面。你只要在这里敞开你的心，有一个简短而真诚的祷告，从心里接受祂作你的救主，立刻你就能得着祂。”起初他有点疑惑说，“真的这样简单吗？”我说，“是，就是这样简单。你不要以为希奇。请看阳光，是人所需要的，但你得着阳光，却非常简单。再看空气，同样是人所需要的，你得着它也是非常简单。这一位神，更是人所最需要的，今天人要得着祂，也是非常的简单。人最需要的东西，往往都是最简单就能得着的。请你不妨现在就试试。”他立即答应，就在床上作了一个祷告。祷告之后，他说，“先生，我告诉你，我从前是反对基督教的，绝不许我的太太去参加基督教的聚会，也不许我的孩子到基督教学校受教育。然而今天我告诉你，从这一天起，我要我的孩子和太太都去参加聚会。”我问他：“这是什么原因？”他说，“我刚才祷告之后，好像里面就有了一线光明。”我说，“很好，这是一个开头。从这时候起，盼望你天天都有时间这样向主祷告。”
我不过就是这样和他见过一面；过不久，便听说他故去了。这时有朋友来告诉我，说，他临去之前，只留下一个遗言，再也没有别的话留下。他嘱咐他的妻子和孩子说，“我已经信了耶稣，我实在很快乐。盼望你们也都能去参加聚会，听听福音，接受耶稣作救主。”这样一个受过高等教育，居过高位，有过各样享受的人，为什么留下这样的遗言？乃是因为从他的经验中，他实际的经历了人生最深、且最终的需要，就是这一位神。

The Way to Gain God – Act 17:27
This is not an abstract theory; it is a spiritual reality. There is a Lord, there is a God, who is Spirit. He can enter into a person, satisfying their spirit, transforming sorrow into joy, and bringing light to a life once filled with darkness.
I once knew a friend who had studied abroad in Japan. Upon returning, he attained a significant position in government and eventually became the mayor of Tianjin Special Municipality. However, when I met him, he was bedridden. The moment he saw me, tears welled up in his eyes, and he said, “I’ve experienced all kinds of pleasures. I’ve received a top-tier education and held high positions. In terms of wealth, I’m well-off. As for family, I have my wife and children by my side – a seemingly perfect home. Yet here I am on this sickbed, feeling an inexplicable pain deep within. I can’t pinpoint its source, but it feels as though something is missing, as if I’m yearning for something I cannot define or grasp. Could you guide me to a path that could resolve this inner pain”?
I softly replied, “Sir, this is a simple matter. The true meaning of life is God Himself. In one sense, your experiences are both remarkable and complete: you’ve received an elite education, held high positions, amassed wealth and built a beautiful family. It seems you have everything. Yet, deep within, you still feel something is missing. What you are lacking is not material or intellectual – it is God Himself. You are a thoughtful and intelligent person. Please reflect: What is the purpose of your existence? As a person in this vast universe, what is the ultimate meaning of your life? The truth is, the purpose of your life is God. God is the meaning of life. Without God, life has no meaning”.
Hearing these words, his eyes lit up. He eagerly asked, “How can I obtain this God”? I said, “It’s very simple. Today, God is Spirit, omnipresent, and always ready to enter into anyone who believes in and receives Him. All you need to do is open your heart, pray sincerely and briefly, and receive Him as your Savior. Instantly, you will have Him”. Initially, he was skeptical, saying, “Is it really that simple”? I responded, “Yes, it truly is that simple. Don’t find it strange. Consider sunlight – it is essential for life, yet it is so simple to receive. Likewise with air – it is crucial, yet we obtain it effortlessly. This God, who is the ultimate need of human beings, is just as simple to receive. The things we need most in life are often the easiest to obtain. Why not try it now”? He agreed and prayed a heartfelt prayer right there in his bed. Afterward, he said, “Sir, I have to tell you, I used to oppose Christianity. I forbade my wife from attending Christian gatherings and didn’t allow my children to enroll in Christian schools. But today, I tell you, from now on, I want my wife and children to go to church”. I asked him, “What brought about this change”? He said, “After praying just now, it feels as though a light has dawned within me”. I said, “That’s wonderful – it is a start. From now on, I hope you take time every day to pray to the Lord like this”.
That was the only time I met him. Not long after, I heard he had passed away. A friend later told me that his final words were a message to his wife and children: “I have believed in Jesus, and I feel truly joyful. I hope you will also attend church, listen to the gospel and receive Jesus as your Savior”. Why would someone so well-educated, with a high position and ample experiences, leave behind such a message? It was because, through his personal experience, he had encountered the deepest and ultimate need of life: God Himself.
