新约启示出主耶稣访问人的例子。祂从天上下来，为要拯救罪人（提前一15）。祂的降下就是祂出去访问犯罪的族类。我们都必须跟从主耶稣作我们的榜样，出去访问堕落的人类。主更进一步带着祂大能的救恩去访问撒该（路十九1-10）。主对撒该说，‘今天我必须住在你家里’（路十九5）。又说，‘今天救恩到了这家’（路十九9）。主的话给我们看见，神救恩的单位不是个人，乃是全家。
主在访问撒玛利亚妇人，将活水带给她的事上，也为我们立下了榜样（约四3-15）。约翰四章四节告诉我们，主耶稣‘必须经过撒玛利亚’。主离开了犹太，要往加利利去。主必须经过撒玛利亚，因为祂必须到雅各井旁去，等那犯罪的撒玛利亚妇人。祂到了井旁，将救恩的真活水带给那妇人。这救恩的故事不是发生在一个小礼拜堂或大教堂里面，乃是在露天的雅各井旁。我们应当跟从主耶稣这个榜样，去访问罪人，使他们得着救恩。

The Examples of the Lord Jesus
The New Testament reveals examples of the Lord Jesus visiting people. He came down from heaven to save sinners (1 Tim. 1:15). His coming down was His going out to visit sinful humanity. We need to follow the example of the Lord Jesus by going out to visit fallen mankind. The Lord also went further by visiting Zacchaeus with His powerful salvation (Luke 19:1-10). He said to Zacchaeus, “Today I must stay at your house” (Luke 19:5), and later declared, “Today salvation has come to this house” (Luke 19:9). These words show us that the unit of God’s salvation is not just for an individual but for the entire household.
Another example is the Lord’s visit to the Samaritan woman, where He brought her living water (John 4:3-15). John 4:4 tells us that “He had to pass through Samaria.” The Lord left Judea and was heading to Galilee. He purposely passed through Samaria because He needed to go to Jacob’s well to meet the sinful Samaritan woman. At the well, He brought her the true living water of salvation. This story of salvation did not take place in a small chapel or grand cathedral but outdoors by Jacob’s well. We should follow the example of the Lord Jesus by going out to visit sinners so that they may receive salvation.
