主耶稣在太十二29说，除非先捆绑壮者，才能进他家里，抢夺他的家具。那壮者就是撒但，而撒但就在我们的肉身里，竭力要控制我们的心思。我们需要捆绑在我们心思里的壮者撒但。这样我们才能抢夺他的家具。林后四4说，这世代的神弄瞎了那些不信者的心思。撒但的策略是不断地弄瞎人的心思。我们必须祷告，捆绑那壮者，捆绑这世代的神。弗四17-18说到“他们心思的虚妄。”属世的人在他们心思的虚妄里行事为人，他们心思里的一切都是虚妄的。十八节用另一个辞：“在悟性上…昏暗。”属世之人的悟性是昏暗的。此外还有第三个辞：“他们心里的刚硬。”在这两节里我们看见心思的虚妄、悟性的昏暗、以及心里的刚硬。假定你的心思充满虚妄，你的悟性昏暗，并且你的心里刚硬，这样，你是何等可怜的人！不仅今天属世的人像这样，许多基督徒也完全一样。他们的心思充满虚妄，他们的悟性完全昏暗，并且他们心里全然刚硬。对于这事我们该怎么办？我们必须祷告捆绑那壮者，然后我们才能抢夺他的家具。我们必须为着国度，借着捆绑那壮者，来拯救他们。
所有在教会里负责的弟兄们都必须看见，教会大部分的问题都来自弟兄姊妹的心思。按照圣经，问题最多的教会是在哥林多的教会，他们问题的主要原因乃是分岐的意见。意见当然是心思里的问题。因此，保罗写说，他们需要在一样的心思和一样的意见里，彼此和谐（林前一10）。虽然所有的圣徒都需要在一样的心思和一样的意见里，彼此和谐，领头的弟兄们还必须在祷告中争战。他们必须不与人争论，但要专特的祷告说，“主啊，捆绑那壮者，捆绑那在亲爱的圣徒分岐思想里的壮者！主啊，我们不能作什么，我们求你捆绑那壮者！”姊妹们的思想是敏感的，弟兄们的思想是有爆炸性的。如果你去碰思想，你就会受苦。最好的路乃是不要碰思想，而去摸权柄的宝座，并捆绑那壮者。一旦那壮者被捆绑，你就能抢夺他的家具。至终，你会看见所有亲爱的弟兄姊妹一个一个都得着帮助。他们得着帮助不是凭着你的争论或劝服，乃是凭着捆绑那壮者。教会里发生问题时，绝不要去摸思想；总要去摸宝座，求主捆绑那壮者。这是国度─撒但的国或神的国─的事。心思是战场，我们都必须争战，将心思掳来。

To Bind the Strong Man — 2 Cor. 4:4
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 12:29 that no one can enter into the house of the strong man and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong one. The strong man is Satan, and Satan is in our flesh and strives to control our mind. We need to bind the strong man Satan, who dwells in our mind, in order to plunder his goods. 2 Corinthians 4:4 says that the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers. It is Satan’s strategy to continually blind man’s thoughts. We must pray to bind the strong one, the god of this age. Ephesians 4:17-18 talks about “the vanity of their mind”. Worldly people walk in the vanity of their mind. Verse 18 uses another phrase: “darkened in their understanding.” The understanding of worldly people is darkened and everything in their mind is vanity. In addition, there is a third phrase: “the hardness of their hearts”. In these two verses we see the vanity of the mind, the darkness of the understanding and the hardness of the heart. Suppose your mind is like the above scriptures, what a pitiful person you are! Not only is the world like this today, but many Christians are in the same situation. What should we do about this? We must pray and bind the strong man before we can plunder his goods. We must save them by binding the strong one for the sake of the kingdom.
All responsible brothers in the church must realize that most of the problems in the church come from the mind of the brothers and sisters. According to the Bible, the church with the most problems was the church in Corinth. The main cause of their problems was divided opinions. Opinions are of course matters of the mind. Therefore, Paul said they needed to be attuned in the same mind and in the same opinion (1 Cor. 1:10). Even by doing so, the leading brothers must also fight in prayer. There is no need to argue with man, but pray specifically by saying, “Lord, bind the strong one, who is in the divided thoughts of the dear saint! Oh Lord, we can do nothing, we beg you to bind the strong one!” Sisters’ thoughts are sensitive, and brothers’ thoughts are explosive. If you touch your thoughts, it will make you suffer. The best way is not to touch your thoughts, but to touch the throne of authority and bind the strong one. Once the strong man is bound, you may plunder his goods. Eventually, you will see all your dear brothers and sisters are being helped one by one. They are helped not by your arguments or persuasion, but by binding the strong one. When problems arise in the church, never attempt to touch the mind, but always touch the throne and ask the Lord to bind the strong one. This is a matter of the kingdom – the kingdom of Satan or the kingdom of God. The mind is a battlefield, we all must fight and take captive our mind.
